This book reworks both the biblical and Egyptian chronlogies to get what I believe are the most correct dates for the Exodus (on both biblical and secular timescales). It discusses the true numbers that left Egypt with Moses. It looks at the geographical history of the Sinai and links the Exodus to a global cataclysm that tore open the Gulf of Aqaba in the time of Moses, and reversed the flow of the Jordan, forming the Dead Sea. It discusses possible Exodus routes, different from today due to a mini-Ice Age in Europe that had lowered sea-levels by as much as 300 feet, and still perhaps by 120 feet in the time of Moses. It traces the wandering of the Israelites in Arabia, before Moses finally took them back into the Sinai, near Petra. It clearly locates the Mountain of God and the full exodus route for the first time, finally drawing a correct Bible map for the whole region. The case is made that the pharaoh faced by the shepherd-king Moses was the Hyksos shepherd-king/pharaoh Ankh Ahmose Hadad, also known as Kamoses, Kames, Kahmudi, Dudimose and a few other names, near the end of Dynasty XIII, which actually followed Dynasty VI.

This very short book (a research document of 135 pages) was worth the read. He gave reasons for his opinions, and cited his own research and time spent in Egypt. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it is the type of book which should be used for research, reference, and comparison with other books, and this is not possible in the Kindle-only format. Also, and this is not the fault of the author, but the charts and maps he provided (I'm sure with good faith and assurance from Kindle formatters that they could be enlarged) cannot be enlarged using the Kindle keyboard; unknown if other versions of Kindle can enlarge the charts and maps. The charts and maps were unusable to me because of this. However, the author does provide an email address at the end of the book to request digital documents, presumably for this reason. I will request those; however, I still feel cheated because I don't have an easy way to refer to reference material in his book without depending on Kindle's tools of 'search' etc. I simply prefer to have reference books in print, and it is not available. All my grumbling aside, I am glad to have stumbled across this little gem.Product details
